In the name of God Amen I Andrew Applegate of the Township of South Amboy in the County of Middlesex and State of New Jersey being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this for my last Will and Testament

I do order and direct my Executors herein after named as soon after my decease as may be to sell my estate both real and personal at either public or private sale as they may think best and from the proceeds to pay all my just debts

Second all the residue of my estate after paying as above mentioned I bequeath to my wife Elizabeth for her use and support If she should decease before me or leave any of said money after she decease in either of which cases I order the same estate to be equally divided amongst my children still to be living

Third I appoint my wife Elizabeth Executrix and my son Fenwick P. Applegate executors of this my last will

In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand and thirty six.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Andrew Applegate to be his testament and last will in the presence of us who subscribed our names hereunto as witnesses in the presence of the testator
