In the Name of God Amen This ninth day of February anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety two I Andrew Applegate Senr. of the County of Mlddlesex State of New Jersey being in a sad State of Health and body yet perfect in mind and memory do make ordain & appoint this my last will and testament and do hereby revoke make null and void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made ratifying Allowing and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament and first I Recommend my soul to almighty God Expecting Eternal life and salvation Through the merits of Jesus Christ the only Saviour and my body to the dust from whence it came to be buried in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter mentioned and as to such worldly Estate as God hath given me in this life I give and dispose of all in the following manner and form with all the exceptions herein after mentioned and in the first place here I order all my just debts to be paid and my funeral charges then here

First I give & Bequeath unto my oldest son Andrew Applegate Ten Shillings

Again I give and bequeath unto my son Ebenezer Applegate Ten Shillings

Again I give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Applegate Ten Shillings

Again I give and Bequeath unto my son Francis Applegate Ten Shillings

Again I give and bequeath unto my son Zacharias Applegate Ten Shillings

Again I give and bequeath unto my Eldest Daughter Phebe Walton Ten Shillings

Again I give and Bequeath unto my youngest Daughter Franson Applegate one feather bed bedstead and bedding as common Likewise one pair of smoothing Irons and six Pewter plates

Then I order all my whole estate real and personal except the things above mentioned for Franson To be Inventoried appraised and sold at Publick Vendue and the money arising there from to be Equally divided Between my seven Children above mentioned and whereas my Daughter Phebe Walton has had small out set which will appear by an inventory Taken of Them I further Order the goods she has had be valued and the value of them be reduced out of her part of the estate

I further order that if any of the above mentioned children should die before the division of my Estate their share shall be equally divided Amongst the Survivors

Lastly I Nominate Appoint and authorize my Eldest Son Andrew Applegate and my well beloved Friend Joseph Holman Senr son of Joseph Holman the Sole Executors of this my last will and testament
