    OBITUARY

    Sarah A. Applegate, widow of Furman Applegate, aged 70 years, 11 mo., 17 days, died Monday morning of chronic bronchitis after a lingering illness.

    The funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday at 10 o’clock by Rev. Hutchison. Interment in Glenn Forest cemetery. One daughter, Mrs. N. Howell, of Boston, and four sons, Judson, of Tacoma, Wash. Dr. Will, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Bert, of Dayton and John, of Yellow Springs survive her. Mr. and Mrs. Applegate were among the earliest settlers in this vicinity.
