In the name of God Amen, I, Lewis P. Applegate of Cranbury Township, Middlesex County and State of New Jersey being in feeble health but yet of sound mind and memory for which blessing I thank God. I do make and publish this, my last will and testament.
1st. I do order and direct my executor hereinafter named to pay all my funeral expenses
2nd I give and bequeath all of my household goods to my Aunt Elizabeth Forman but my grandfather and grandmother John D. Grover & wife to have the use of them during their life time.
3rd I give and bequeath all the balance of my property of whatever kind to my Grandmother Eliza Grover wife of John D. Grover.
4th I constitute and appoint my true friend and grandfather John D. Grover my executor to this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have signed and published this as my last will and testament this seventh day of May A.D. Eighteen Hundred and Eighty five (1885).
