In the name of God Amen I Sarah Applegate of the township of East Windsor in the County of Middlesex and State of New Jersey Do make and Ordain this to be my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say

Imprimis I order all my just debts and funeral expenses including a headstone to be paid by my Executors (hereafter appointed)

Item I give and Bequeath unto my son Disbrow Applegate the sum of One hundred and forty dollars also my English cupboard, dining table, his choice of half dozen chairs, and one white Queens ware platter

Item I give and Bequeath unto my son in law Robert Carson the sum of forty dollars

Item I give and Bequeath unto my granddaughter Rachel wife of Doctor Ezekiel Wilson my gold ring with a plate in it, and all my wearing apparel excepting what is herein underneath bequeathed

Item I give and Bequeath unto my said granddaughter Rachel's daughter Mary E. Wilson, one bed, bedding, bedstead, one set of calico curtains, one white bedspread, one half dozen chairs, and one half dozen china cups and saucers

Item I give and Bequeath unto my granddaughter Rachel wife of John W. Dey, one gold ring, one light chintz gown, one light Bombost gown, and one light callico gown

Item I give and Bequeath unto my great grand daughter Sarah Ann, daughter of Anthony Carron, one gold ring with the letters R and K marked thereon, one Bed and Bedding standing now in the house of my said son Disbrow Applegate, also one trunk Item I order and direct all my Tea ware, dishes, Bowls, plates etc to be equally divided among the Children of my son Disbrow Applegate, and my daughter Rachel now deceased's children share and share alike

Item I give and Bequeath all the remainder of my Estate (consisting of Notes, Bonds, and Obligations) to my five grand children Viz Kenneth Applegate, the aforesaid Rachel wife of John W. Dey, Anthony Carson, Rachel wife of the aforesaid Doctor Ezekiel Wilson and Disbrow Carson to be disposed of and divided equally between them when collected share and share alike, but, at the same time it is my Will and Order, that what I have Bequeathed unto my said grand daughter Rachel wife of John W. Dey when the sum is assertained shall be retained and kept in the hands of her father the aforesaid Disbrow Applegate, and that the interest arising thereon shall be paid by him or his representative yearly and every year during the term of her natural life, and at her decease, if she shall have any heirs of her body, then the said principal, I give and Bequeath unto them, But if she should die without children then the said principal I order to be equally divided and paid Between my aforesaid grand son Kenneth Applegate and the children of my said grand daughter Rachel Wilson's children, the said Children to have the equal half part thereof, and it is also my Will and I order that the sum that I have bequeathed unto my said grand daughter Rachel wife of the said Doctor Wilson shall be retained and kept in the hands of her father the said Robert Carron and the interest arising thereon to be paid unto her yearly and every year during her natural life by her said father or his legal representative, and at her decease I order the principal to be equally divided among her children, share and share alike

And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my said son Disbrow Applegate and my son in law Robert Carson Executors of and to this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Tenth day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Twenty six
