In the name of God amen I Mary Applegate of the township of Monroe in the County of Middlesex and State of New Jersey, Being in low state of Health but of sound mind memory and understanding, for which blessing, I thank God do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say,

First, I do order my body to buried in a Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors herein after named;

Second It is my will that all my just debts and funeral charges be first paid out of my Estate after my decease

Third I do give to my daughter Martha Ellen Davison one Cherry table and one Looking glass;

Fourth I do give to my daughter Elizabeth Jimmasan the sum of one dollar and twenty five cents to be paid to her one year after my decease;

Fifth I do order my Executors to pay my debts and funeral charges to divide the residue of my Estate equal between Ann Martha Rigs Eli Applegate Samuel Applegate Disbrow Applegate Martha Ellen Davison Smith Applegate William P Applegate and Noah Applegate to them and their heirs share and share alike with the exception of one hundred dollars I do give to my grandson Leonard Applegate to be left in Joseph C. Davison hands till he arrives at the age of twenty one except sickness that he needs it;

Sixth I do hereby appoint William P. Applegate and Smith Applegate Executors of this my last will and testament;

Seventh In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of January Eighteen Hundred and Seventy
