Will of Grace H. Applegate

Pendleton Co., KY, Will Book 4-486


I, Grace H. Applegate, of Falmouth, Pendleton County, Kentucky, being of sound mind do declare this as an for my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any and all Wills heretofore made by me.


(1)  I order and direct that all my just debts be paid.


(2)  It is my will and I give, bequeath and devise unto my sister, Maude Applegate all my estate, both real and personal, absolutely and in fee-simple, without reservation.


(3)  If my sister Maud Applegate predeceases me, then in that event, I will, bequeath and devise all my property, both real and personal, unto Virginia Crecillius Tinder and Margaret Tinder Harris, mother and daughter, absolutely and in fee-simple.  I further direct that the real property be sold at private sale (no public sale) and the proceeds of such sale be paid to them.


(4)  I direct that a sufficient sum be paid to the Riverside Cemetery of Falmouth to provide for perpetual care of the John B. Applegate lot and that appropriate markers be placed thereon at the graves of Grace H. and Maud Applegate.


(5)  I appoint Mitchell W. Tinder as executor of this my last Will and Testament and request that he be exempt from giving any bond and I authorize and empower him to execute deed for conveyance of proper title to real estate and to do all things necessary and proper to carry out the terms of this Will.


IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 25th day of June, 1960
