I, William S. Applegate of Cranbury, Middlesex County, New Jersey do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say -
First: It is my will and I do order all my just debts and funeral expenses paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease -
Second: It is my wish and I do order that my executors hereinafter named shall sell at public or private sale all my real estate and personal property when they think it advisable and divide the proceeds equally between my three children Mary Ela Pullen of Hightstown, N.J. Edward W. Applegate of Cranbury N.J. and Henry P. Applegate of Cranbury N.J., share and share alike -
Third: It is my wish and I desire that my said son Edward have the property where he now resides for the sum of eighteen hundred dollars as we agreed upon during my lifetime, and pay to the other two children the sum of twelve hundred dollars, should he not care to take the property at said figure, then the property is to be sold at public sale and if it not brining said eighteen hundred dollars, all under this amount must be deducted from Edward’s share of my estate, but should it bring more than the said amount, then the whole to be divided equally.
Lastly: I do hereby constitute and appoint my said three children executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of October A.D. nineteen hundred and thirteen.
