^{The last will and Testament of Josephine Applegate of the Township of Lacey in the County of Ocean and State of New Jersey.}

^{First - It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my death as conveniently can be.}

^{Second - I do hereby give, bequeath and devise to my husband Howard Applegate, all my property both real and personal, where ever situate and of whatsoever the same may consist, of which I may die seized or possessed or in any way entitled unto either in law or equity, to him, his heirs executors and administrators forever.}

^{Third - I hereby appoint John Holmes and Joseph Holmes, or the survivors of them at my death, the executors of this my last will and testament.}

^{In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 4th day of June A.D. 1903}
