I Anna Applegate & State of Ohio being of sound mind do make and publish this as my last will and testament.
In manner & form as follows
First. That my body be decently buried & my funeral expenses & all my Just debts be paid in full.
Second. It is my will that my son W.B. Applegate be paid for all business he may do for me & to have my Father’s Picture in consideration for his & his wifes kindness to me in time of trouble.
Third. I will to my son A.B. Applegate my large Rocking Chair that he gave me.
Fourth. I will to my Daughter Anna E. Hill all my wearing apparel with the request that she give each of my Daughters in law something of mine to keep whatever she thinks is right or or [sic] what they can agree upon.
Fifth. I will to my son J.E. Applegate Seven Dollars to buy him a Dictionary.
Sixth. I will my son P.K. Applegate my Small Album, my clock & one motto Worked with Red.
Seventh. I hereby appoint and constitute my son W.B. Applegate & P.K. Applegate to be the Executors of this my last Will & Testament giving them full power to dispose of all my property both Real and Personal except what I have bequeathed above stated the proceeds to be divided Equally between my five children. I would Rather my Household Goods should be divided among my five children without a sale of they can agree on the articles.
My executors to be paid for their trouble without any Refference [sic] to the law.
I desire that in final Settlement of my Estate that no one of my Children shall be compelled to take more than His or Her Equal Share of uncollectable [sic] note or notes.
In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 26th day of July 1890.
