I Abraham Appelgate of the Township of South Brunswick and County of Middlesex, and State of New Jersey, calling to mind that all men are mortal, and subject to death, therefore being now in reasonable health, and sound mind and memory, this is to certify, that the following is my last will, and Testament, to be carried into effect immediately after my death

First I give and bequeath to my Daughter Eliza Clark, the sum of five hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States

Second I give & bequeath to my son John Appelgate one hundred dollars, in addition to that I have already given him

Third I give & bequeath to my Daughter Margaret Runyon the sum of five hundred dollars good & lawful money of the United States

Fourth I give & bequeath to my daughter Emoline Robinson the sum of one hundred dollars, in addition to that I have given her or the same money which my estate is bound to pay for her

Fifth I give & bequeath to my grand Child Ema Sevusta & daughter of my child Mary Ann Runyon, the sum of five hundred dollars

I do hereby order and direct, that my executors in the first place, pay all my just debts and funeral expenses, and that they are hereby authorized to sell and dispose of all my real & personal estate that may remain, after paying my debts and the above legacies it is my will that the balance be divided among my children share & share alike

I do hereby constitute & appoint, as my executors, my sons in-law, Isaac Clark, and Manuel Raunyon,

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal in my own house near Kingston, This 28th day of November In the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty one
Signed, sealed, confirmed, declared and delivered as the last will and testament of the subscriber in the presence of us
