Will of John B Applegate Pendleton County Kentucky Will Book 2, p. 156 I, John B Applegate do make and declare this to be my last will and testament. 1st. I desire that all just debts against me be paid 2nd. I desire that my estate be distributed as provided by the laws of descent and distribution of this State except as provided in the 3rd clause of this will. 3rd. The one half interest in the farm on Blanket Creek deeded to my wife Fannie Applegate by my brother William Applegate was paid for by me and its value will be charged to her in estimating her interest in my whole estate, reckoning said land and the proceeds of the sale of the same or any part of the same as part of my estate. 4th. I hereby authorize my executors to sell and convey any real estate I may own at the time of my death and to convey any land sold by me heretofore for which I have not executed the deed. 5th. I appoint my brothers Wm. M. Applegate and Leslie T. Applegate executors of this will, will full authority to execute and put into effect its provisions. Jno. B. Applegate Attest: O.D.
