Will of Charles L Applegate

I, Charles L Applegate hereby make my last will and testament revoking all other wills heretofore [made] by me.
1st I direct that my executors pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses from my estate,
2nd I give and devise to my wife Hattie V Applegate - my two (2) houses numbers 78 and 79 Downing St Brooklyn in fee, and in liew [sic] of any dower right in any of my other property, also I give to her my four slices [?] of stock in Washington Trust Co of Manhattan New York: all furniture and books in 78 Downing St Brooklyn,
3d I give and devise to my brother A Martin Applegate my house number 660 Water Avenue Brooklyn in fee
4th I give and devise to my brother John A Applegate my houses numbers 764 and 933 1/2 Water Avenue Brooklyn in fee; also my farm devised to me by will of my father Joseph M Applegate and situated near Spottswood N.J in Middlesex County in fee,
5th I give and devise to my sister Hester J Soden my house number 935 Water Avenue Brooklyn in fee.
6th My seven lots in New Brunswick N.J and my cash in Washington Trust Co of New York and all other property wheresoever situated and found I give and devise in fee and as residuary legacies to my two brothers A Martin Applegate and John A Applegate.
7th In case of the decease of either or both of my brothers or my sister before me then the [illegible] given to them to go to their children or child.
8th I hereby appoint my wife Hattie V Applegate and my brother A Martin Applegate executors of this will and [illegible] bonds.
