I Matilda Applegate of the township of Lebanon County of Hunterdon and State of New Jersey being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament to wit:

First All my just debts and funeral expenses shall be first fully paid

Second The Rev. Thomas Hall of near Paterson, New Jersey has in his possession one hundred and twenty five dollars placed in his hands by me for my burial and a headstone which I want used for that purpose.

Third I give devise and bequeath all the household goods and remainder of my personal estate to my beloved sisters Lucy Britt and Claricy Sheridan share and share alike and to their heirs and assigns forever.

Fourth I nominate and appoint Lucy Britt of Jersey City to be the executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills made by me

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 20th day of May A.D. 1899.
