APPLEGATE, Corrinne 93, of Dayton, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010. Corrinne was born in Darke Co., Ohio on July 14, 1916 to Omar and Minnie (Brumbaugh) Parent. She was a member of Shiloh Church (United Church of Christ) where she was an active member of the ladies bowling league. Corrinne moved from Greenville to the community of Shiloh, in Harrison Township, in 1955. She loved her home, especially her backyard, her flowers and feeding the birds. She remained there until 2007 when she took an apartment at Maria Joseph Center, where she made many friends and spent three happy years. She was proceeded in death by her husband Charles Applegate in 1996 and survived by 2 daughters, Jane Applegate (David Bohardt) of Dayton, Sharon Applegate of Framingham, Mass. and loving granddaughter Louise Applegate, also of Framingham. Funeral 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 14 at the Maria Joseph chapel, 4830 Salem Ave., Trotwood with Rev. Dick Van Tine. Interment Gettysburg Cemetery, Gettysburg (Darke Co.). Family will receive friends at the chapel 30 minutes prior to the service (10:30 a.m.).
