He was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 6, 1938, the son of the late Bertram Helmuth and Sedellamae (Wiseheart) Applegate. He was a Heating & Air Conditioning instructor for 35 years at local colleges and companies. Norm is survived by his three sons, Norman Jr, Lenard Ray (Brenda), Waylon Keith (Robin) and fourth son, Rubin "The Bird"; granddaughters, Teresa Michelle, Deboralea Lucretia and Amber Nicole; great grandchildren, Alexis Marie, Michaelea Sue, Jacobi Fabian and Natalli Lynn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, 5 months, and 7 days, Joyce V. (Coffey) Applegate. Services entrusted to Harry W. Moore Funeral Care.
