      Gertrude was the niece (by marriage) of Kenneth Appleget. She was the daughter of his wife’s brother, Peter Wyckoff (d. 1895) and Elizabeth Baird (b. 2 Mar. 1800; d. 14 Dec. 1895, in Hightstown, Mercer Co., NY).
