The last Will and testament of Daniell Apelgat Senior of Middletowne in the County of Monmouth in New Jersey as follows

Item I give to my two eldest sons John and Jacob Apelgat six shillings to each

Item I give to my two youngest sons Bartholomew and Ebenezer one shilling to each of them

Item I give to my several daughters Jojama (Susanna) Hanah and Mary and Rebecakah one shilling to each of them

Item I give and bequeath to my loving wife Rebeckah all the rest and residue of my estate real and personnal to her and to hers and I do ordain and apoint my wife executor of this my last Will and testament as witness my hand and seal this fifteenth day of October one thousand seven hundred and nine.

Then appeared before me Jeremiah Prass, Esq. [illegible] and appointed to take this [illegible] of [illegible] the within named John Newman Thos Shepard & Thomas Appelgat witnesses to the within written will who being duly sworned and declared that the were present and saw the within named Daniell Apelgat sign seale publish & declare the within written instrument to be his last will & testament & that at the time of his signing & publishing he was of sound & perfect mind & menory to the best of their knowledge and belief.
