      Obituary text:

      Edward Applegate died yesterday at his home in South Amboy. He had for many years been the leading undertaker of the borough. He was the son-in-law of former Freeholder Hezekiah Warne and was well known throughout the county. He was a man past middle age. His death was due to stomach troubles. Arrangements for his funeral have not yet been completed.
